Donovan, Senior Associate, Climate Risk Pty Ltd, has been named as a recipient of the 2007 Wentworth Scholarship.
The Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists is an independent group of Australian scientists concerned with advancing solutions to secure the long term health of Australia’s land, water and biodiversity. The Scholarship awarded by the Wentworth Group seeks to enable recipients to become active contributors at the interface of good decision making and world class science.
Donovan , a specialist advisor to government and business on climate change risk and opportunities, is currently a PhD candidate at Griffith’s Urban Research Project. With experience as a planner in local government, he has published a number of papers on local government, property and climate change.
This award follows on last months commendation from the Queensland Planning Minister for his research into mitigation in South East Queensland.
